Logistics Club – April Thematic Seminar: "Strategies to Strengthen Inter-Regional Logistics Following the Dong Nai – Binh Phuoc Merger"

On the afternoon of April 25, 2025, at Room B203 of Lac Hong University, the Logistics Club under the Faculty of Finance and Accounting successfully organized its April thematic seminar titled "Strategies to Strengthen Inter-Regional Logistics Following the Dong Nai – Binh Phuoc Merger." The event attracted significant interest from faculty members and students passionate about the logistics sector, offering new perspectives on regional economic dynamics in the context of ongoing administrative and economic restructuring.

The seminar featured Mr. Hoang Ngoc Quang, Deputy Head of Sales at Thong Quan Joint Stock Company, who provided in-depth and practical insights into the opportunities and challenges facing the logistics industry following the administrative merger of the two provinces.

The discussion centered around several compelling and highly practical topics:

  • - Analysis of logistics connectivity trends within the Southeast region of Vietnam and the immediate and long-term impacts of administrative boundary adjustments;
  • - Strategies for expanding warehouse networks, transportation infrastructure, and logistics services to optimize geographical advantages and enhance inter-regional supply chains;
  • - Sharing practical experiences from enterprises in adapting swiftly to new developments, seizing growth opportunities, and expanding market reach.

The seminar took place in a lively and open atmosphere, with students actively engaging in discussions, raising questions regarding career trends, essential new skills in the modern logistics industry, and ways to effectively prepare for career opportunities emerging from regional economic shifts.

A representative of the Logistics Club shared: "Our goal is not only to equip students with specialized knowledge but also to foster strategic thinking, adaptability, and readiness to integrate into the dynamic logistics environment."

The program concluded in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and inspiration, promising more in-depth seminars in the future. Such initiatives aim to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices, bringing students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting closer to the realities of the logistics profession and the evolving trends within Vietnam’s logistics sector.
